Regulatory Action against Michael Anthony Smith, D.C.

In 2016, Michael Anthony Smith, D.C. and the Idaho Board of Chiropractic Physicians entered into a stipulation (shown below) under which he agreed to modify his practices and pay $4,943.82 to cover the cost of the regulatory proceedings. Smith operates Dynamic Health, which is set up as a private membership association in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho. The Board alleged: Beginning in at least 2012, Smith treated patients for allergies, Lyme disease, and parasites using controversial and unproven methods, including making diagnoses without appropriate lab tests and utilizing magnets for treatment. These practices violated the Chiropractic standard of care, and constituted an abuse or exploitation of patients.
