Disciplinary Actions against Frank Shallenberger, M.D.
In 1994, as noted below, the Medical Board of California charged Frank A. Shallenberger, M.D., with gross negligence in his management of three patients. A few months later, he settled the charges with a stipulated agreement under which he surrendered his California medical license. The case also triggered action by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners, which entered into a stipulation under which Shallenberger agreed to be fined $300 and publicly reprimanded his conduct. In 2006, the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners charged that Shallenberger had rendered substandard medical care to a 76-year-old patient.
