Section 303 of the Veterans’ Millennium Health Care Act (Public Law No: 106-117), which became law on November 30, 1999, orders the Veterans Administration to establish a policy for the Veterans Health Administration regarding the role of chiropractic treatment in the care of veterans. On October 3, 2000, a Congressional hearing was held to discuss the VHA’s policy toward chiropractic care, which has traditionally been very negative.
